Stamplorations 2nd Birthday Blog Hop

Wow, STAMPlorations is celebrating its second birthday and they celebrating the whole week - woohoo! I have the honour to be a part of the birthday blog hop as a guestie!
They have released three stamp sets for the birthday party and they are so much fun!


I made four cards using these sets. As you can see Party Mates was my favorite one! All the setiments are from the set Party Time.
For the first card I did A LOT of coloring with colored pencils! It takes some time but I love to do it!


On the second card there are legs, legs, legs from the set Party Girl!


For the last two cards I used watercolors! I created a background using Distress Inks it got a little muddy. So I chose some pieces that turned out well and used them for paper piecing the cupcakes.


On the last card I tried a technique I learned from my friend Birka. You can see the video here. It is on German but I think you will understand it even if you don't speak German.

    Oh man, da warst du ja wieder megaproduktiv! Ich frage mich, wann du das schaffst, all diese tollen Karten zu werkeln. Du musst ein Wahnsinnszeitmanagement haben. Und dass die dann immer noch alle so grandios werden. Klasse!

    Holy moley, Anni...I'm new to your blog, but I'll be back. Each of these cards have their own personality. Love how you made the black & white cupcakes pop from that vibrant background and the paper-piecing you've done on the other one is meticulous. Those first two cards are so cheery and fun, clean and beautifully designed.

    WOW!! I LOVE your cards. Your colored pencil coloring is STUNNING!! Mine never come out like that!! The last two with the soft watercoloring are so fun. Fabulous design on every single card!!
