I said it many times before I really love the sets with the big words in Christine's handwriting from Create a Smile. My idea was to create a background from the big Danke (thanks in German) and that's where this card started.

It's Lottie and Lisa time!
That means Christine vom Kartenchaos and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this set and another task.
Today Christine made a wish, and it is:

Stempel/stamps: Happy Everything von Hero Arts
und
Vorgabe/challenge: eine fast vergessene Technik/ a long forgotten technique

This set is very very old. Hero Arts doesn't sell it anymore but it is cute nevertheless. Christine rediscovered it when she visited me back in summer.
For the long forgotten technique I chose partial embossing. I used the Embossing Diffuser from Tim Holtz.

You can't see the partial embossing in this photo. That's why I have a detail photo for you.

Materialien:
Stempel: Hero Arts ("Happy Everything")
Dies: SU ("Greetings"), QuicKutz ("Nesting Circles")

Embossingfolder: SU ("Herzen")
Embossing diffuser: Tim Holtz Ranger
Patterned Paper: Echo Park ("Here & Now")
Koloration: Derwent Inktense
Aquarellpapier: Canson
Cardstock: Neenah, ?
Stempelkissen: Memento
3-D-Lack: efco

Challenges:
Addicted to Stamps and More: Anything Goes
Never Been Used: Anything Goes (Thanks die)
Night Shift Stamping: Tiere
Cards und More: Clean and Simple

And now hop over to Christine's blog and be amazed what she did for the challenge.

Release bei Create a Smile

Already on Friday were the release new stamp sets at Create a Smile. As always Christine came up with some awesome products. There are four new sets this month: Two sets with German sentiments: Gut Geplant (a planner set) and Ein Riesiges Danke (a set to say thanks).
For the holiday season but also very useful for birthdays is the set Wrap It Up! with a big pile of presents. And the best: you can design the wrapping paper by yourself.
My favorite set of this release is the set Time To Say Thanks and that's the one I used for today's card.

Das doppelte Lottchen # 142

Today I made a wish, and it is:

Stempel: Chubby Chum Pals von Paper Smooches
und
Vorgabe: Such dir eine Farbvorgabe/Choose a color challenge

I got the idea for the challenge, because of a board on pinterest with A LOT of color combos I have. But I never use them. So I thought that would be a perfect challenge for Lottie and Lisa. And that's the combo I decided to go with:

tiled brights:

I admit the colors are not 100 % true to the inspiration photo but I hope you (and especially Christine) are generous.

Today and through the whole September I am honored to be a guest designer at the Stampotique Challenge. You may know Stampotique for its fabulous monsters (I was infected by Tanja - of course when there are monsters). But on today's card you can't find monsters but funy birds.
The theme of the challenge is  Primary Colors - take 2 of the 3 primary colours (and the colours that they create when mixed) and just use these on your creation.
