Challenge bei Seven Hills Crafts

In diesem Monat gibt es einen Sketch bei Seven Hills und wie immer auch einen tollen Gewinn! Schnell an den Basteltisch und was Hübsches zaubern.

Challenge bei Seven Hills und noch eine Karte

Heute habe ich gelich zwei Karten zu zeigen, die ich für Seven Hills Crafts gemacht habe.
Zunächst einmal gibt es in diesem Monat natürlich wieder eine Challenge und zwar könnt Ihr mit einem Sketch spielen.
Meine Karte ist eine Babykarte geworden, da eine liebe Stemplerin vor kurzem Mutter geworden ist. Und wie Ihr seht sind für den Hintergrund meine Distress Oxides ins Spiel gekommen.
Today I have two cards for you that I made for Seven Hills Crafts.
The frist one is for the current challenge and this time we have a sketch for you to play with.
I made a baby card because a fellow card designer become a mother a few weeks ago. As you can see I used Distress Oxides for the background.

Für die zweite Karte ist meine neue Lieblingsstanze (Lawn Fawn's Scripty Happy) zum Zuge gekommen. Ich weiß nicht warum, aber ich bin total verliebt in diese Stanze und deswegen spielt sie auch die Hauptrolle auf dieser Karte. Gleich neben meiner zweiten aktuellen Leidenschaft, den Distress Oxides.
You never know what it really is that makes one die your favorite die, don't you! For me at the moment I can't stay away from Lawn Fawn's Scripty Happy die.
So I decided to make it the star of my card. And besides that the Distress Oxides were involved again. I just LOVE them.

Seize the Birthday: No Toppings

Schon sind wieder zwei Wochen rum und es gibt eine neue Challenge bei Seize the Birthday! Dieses Mal gibt es keine weitere Vorgabe außer, dass es eine Geburtstagskarte sein muss.

Bei mir gibt es einen Bären mit Regenbogen-Luftballons! Hach, diese Mama Elephant Stempel sind aber auch immer wieder unwiderstehlich!

Elefant und Weihnachten

Jaaa, das Wochenende ist da und für mich bedeutet das nach langer, langer Zeit endlich mal wieder ein echtes, freies Wochenende, so richtig mit freier Zeit - hach, ist das schön!
Und ich läute das Wochenende auch gleich mit zwei Karten ein:

Für die erste habe ich endlich den süßen Elefanten von Mama Elephant eingeweiht - den mag ich sehr! Und ich hatte viel Spaß beim Colorieren!
For the first one I finally used the cute elephant from Mama Elephant - I love him (or her!) so much! And I had a lot of fun coloring it!

Das doppelte Lottchen # 128

Beim doppelten Lottchen suchen Christine vom Kartenchaos und ich uns ein Stempel oder Stempelset o.ä. aus, das wir beide haben (da gibt es eine große Auswahl, weil wir beide den gleichen Stempelgeschmack haben). Wir entscheiden uns für eine weitere Vorgabe und basteln beide eine Karte u.ä., die dann sonntags um 16:00 Uhr gezeigt wird. Und dann staunen wir (und hoffentlich auch Ihr) wie ähnlich oder wie unterschiedlich die Karten geworden sind!

In dieser Woche durfte ich mir die Vorgaben wünschen und das ist dabei raus gekommen:

That means Christine vom Kartenchaos and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this set and another task.
Today I made a wish, and it is:

Am Donnerstag kam Post für mich und drin waren einige neue Stamping Bella Stempel - meine neue Leidenschaft, weil man die so schön colorieren kann. Also war klar, dass einer von diesen Stempeln mit auf die Karte musste. Ich habe mich für diesen hier entschieden. Als ich nach langer, langer Zeit mit dem Colorieren fertig war (natürlich mal wieder mit Prismacolor/Polychromos), blieb nicht mehr viel Raum für einen aufwendigen Hintergrund. Deshalb ist der relativ schlicht geworden, aber er ist mit kleinen Stempeln gestempelt!

On Thursday I got mail. My new stamps from Stamping Bella arrived. They are my latest addiction because they are so much fun to color. So I HAD to use one of these stamps and I went for this one. After a long time coloring (again I used my Prismacolor/Polychromos), there wasn't enough space for an eloberate background. But it is stamped with small stamps!

Auf meiner Karte gab es viel zu colorieren (natürlich wieder mit Polychromos und Prismacolor), so dass ich drum rum nicht viel Tam Tam gemacht habe.
There was a lot to color on my card (again I used my Polychromos and Prismacolors), so I left the rest quite simple.
