Small Die of the Month December

I am so happy to share the fun of the Small Die of the Month. Every month you get a set of awesome dies, well thought through and you get so much for your money. "Small" is an understatement for this great kit you get with your subscription.

This month the kit is all about sentiments. It is full of sentiments that are perfect to mix and match.

For my card I created an extra long sentiment. To mke the back sentiment pop I created a colourful background with watercolours.

I had so much fun with these dies. Can't wait to see what you will do with yours!

Small Die of the Month November

I am so happy to share the fun of the Small Die of the Month. Every month you get a set of awesome dies, well thought through and you get so much for your money. "Small" is an understatement for this great kit you get with your subscription.

This month the dies are all about snow. It contains three snowflakes you can die cut as they are and dies you can layer up to create your own snowflake.

For my first card I used the three snowflakes. They come in three different sizes and so they are perfect for cardmaking! I created a watercolour background and added the snowflakes cut out from gold cardstock!

For the second card I layered the "Build a Snowflake" die cuts up in different shades of turquoise. Love these dies because you can come up with so many different ideas.

Small Die of the Month: October

I am so happy to share the fun of the Small Die of the Month. Every month you get a set of awesome dies, well thought through and you get so much for your money. "Small" is an understatement for this great kit you get with your subscription.

This month the dies are all about Christmas. It contains big and small dies. For this month I concentrated on the small dies because they are so pretty and perfect for a clean and simple Christmas card that you can make in no time at all.

I started by die cutting the present and the small Christmas tree from patterend paper. They are easy to put together and need just a tiny bit of liquid glue. I adhered them with dimensional adhesive to a panel, stamped a german sentiment saying Merry Christmas and added to a card base witha frame from patterend paper. And the card was finished.

Small Die of the Month September: Boo!

I am so happy to share the fun of the Small Die of the Month. Every month you get a set of awesome dies, well thought through and you get so much for your money. "Small" is an understatement for this great kit you get with your subscription.

This month the dies are all about Halloween. It contains dies for so many different costumes and accessoires.
To create the right atmosphere for Halloween I made a night sky with a bright moon. And then I let the ghosts dance around.

I also wanted to use the skeleton so I made another card.

Small Die of the Month at the Beach

The Small Die of the Month August is all about going back to school! But you can do so much more with this super versatile set. When I looked at the glasses I came up with this idea turning them into sun glasses and making a summer card. Because summer isn't over yet, is it?

Small Die of the Month August

I am so happy to join the Spellbinders DT to share the fun of the Small Die of the Month. Every month you get a set of awesome dies, well thought through and you get so much for your money. "Small" is an understatement for this great kit you get with your subscription.

This month the dies are all about back to school. It contains a die for a backpack with so many fantastic accessoires that go along with the theme.

For my card I used the die for the exercise book and die cut it from patterned paper in rainbow order.  The book comes with a border die and a die to cut out the label. I die cut these from black cardstock for more contrast. To give it the exercise books a more realistic look I added a frame with a white gel pen.

I couldn't resist to also die cut the glasses and some pens. Behind the glasses I glued some vellum to achieve the look of glass. See the labels on the pen? I love all the cute little details the dies have.
For the sentiment I used a german stamp that says something like: Back to school!

Of course I wanted to include the backpack as well. So I decided to make a tag out of it. I used the same patterned paper I had for the card but for the main part of the backpack I went with black cardstock. And for the clasp and the zipper I used silver cardstock - again so many awesome details.
You even can open the backpack and there is a slid where you can add all the school supplies you like.
To the back of the backpack I added a small card so you can write a short message.

I had so much fun playing with these dies! Come back next Wednesday to see another card I did with the Small Die of the Month that has nothing to do with school. Hope you join me.
