Werkzeuge, die man braucht und die die man nicht braucht

Heute teile ich auf dem Create a Smile Blog meine Gedanken zu verschiedenen Werkzeugen, die man meiner Meinung unbedingt braucht bzw. die ich lieber nicht gekauft hätte.
Today I talk about tools on the Create a Smile Blog!  Some tools that I recommend and some tools I wish I never would have bought.

Das Envelope Punch Board ist eins der Werkzeuge, über das ich spreche. Ich benutze es nciht wirklich oft, aber trotzdem bereue ich nicht es gekauft zu haben, denn man kann wirklich tolle Dinge damit machen.  Also habe ich mir selber die Herausforderung gestellt, das Envelope Punch Board mal wieder zu benutzen.
Ich habe meine Familie schon eine ganze Weile nicht gesehen und in der Zwischenzeit gab es einige Geburtstage also brauchte ich einige Geschenke. Wir machen  zusammen eine kleine Reise nach Dresden. Die Geschenke sind alles Gutscheine, die auf dieser Reise eingelöst werden sollen. Und für diese Gutscheine habe ich Umschläge gebastelt.

The Envelope Punch Board is one of the tools I talk about. Ooh, what a hype that was when the Emvelope Punch Board was released! I had to buy it and I used it a lot - in the beginning! Now it is in the drawer and it stays in the drawer! But for today I challenges myself to use it again!
I haven't seen my family for quite a while and during this time there were a lot of birthdays. In a few days we will all meet and I needed some gifts. We make a short trip together so all the gifts will be coupons that will be redeemed during this trip. And for the coupons I made some envelopes with the Envelope Punch Board.

Das Lottchen muss heute leider ausfallen, denn uns hat noch immer keiner eine Millionen Euro geschenkt und die Arbeit ist mal wieder dazwischen gekommen.

Ich habe tolle Neuigkeiten, ich bin im Design Team vom Challenge Blog Seize the Birthday. Ich mag diese Challenge sehr, weil das Thema immer Geburtstag ist! Das finde ich super, weil ich immer zu wenig Geburtstagskarten hat. Zusätzlich gibt es eine weitere Themenvorgabe, die man befolgen kann, aber nicht muss. Ich habe dort schon oft mitgemacht und als Nancy mich fragte, ob ich Lust hätte, ins DT einzusteigen, habe ich mich sehr gefreut und sofort zugesagt!
I have great news, I am the newest member of the Seize the Birthday Design Team. I love this challenge because the theme is always anything goes birthday. I like that because I always need birthday cards. There is an optional twist to the theme!
In the past I played along often. So when Nancy asked if I wanted to become a part of the team I was very happy to say yes.

Release Countdown bei Create a Smile

Hach, es ist wieder soweit: neue Stempel bei Create a Smile in Sicht! Ab Freitag gibt es die neuen Stempel im Shop und bis dahin könnt Ihr Karten auf dem Create a Smile Blog anschauen, dennVorfreude ist bekanntlich die schönste Freude! 

Ich kann euch sagen, es wird monstermäßig. Im neuen Release gibt es nämlich ein Monster-Set, einen tollen Hintergrundstempel mit Chevrons und - was ich am tollsten finde - ein Stempelset mit deutschen Texten, die zu den Monstern passen!

Ein Eis essesndes Chamäleon!

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Ich hoffe, es geht euch allen gut!
Ich habe heute eine sehr bunte Karte für Euch!

I have a bright card for you totday!

Ich wollte schon lange mal wieder das Chamäleon von Jungle Fever benutzen insbesondere mit der langen Zunge. Ich habe so durch meine Create a Smile Stempel geschaut und entschieden, dass das Chamäleon Eis braucht! Und natürlich wechselt es seine Farbe zur Farbe der Eiscreme während es isst.
I wanted to use the chameleon for a long time especially with the long tongue coming out of his mouth! I looked through my stash of Create a Smile stamps and decided that the chameleon needed some icecream! And of course it would change its color to the color of the icecream while eating it!

Das doppelte Lottchen # 126

Beim doppelten Lottchen suchen Christine vom Kartenchaos und ich uns ein Stempel oder Stempelset o.ä. aus, das wir beide haben (da gibt es eine große Auswahl, weil wir beide den gleichen Stempelgeschmack haben). Wir entscheiden uns für eine weitere Vorgabe und basteln beide eine Karte u.ä., die dann sonntags um 16:00 Uhr gezeigt wird. Und dann staunen wir (und hoffentlich auch Ihr) wie ähnlich oder wie unterschiedlich die Karten geworden sind!

In dieser Woche durfte ich mir die Vorgaben wünschen und das ist dabei raus gekommen:

That means Christine vom Kartenchaos and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this set and another task.
Today I made a wish, and it is:

Vorgabe: mindestens 5 verschiedene Stempelkissen benutzen/ Use at least 5 different ink pads

Ich habe vier verschiedene Distress Ink Stempelkissen für den Hintergrund verwendet und ein Versamark für das Embossing! Und ich habe die Chance genutzt, mal wieder eine Weihnachtskarte zu machen. Der Februar ist ja shcon um und das ist meine erste Weihnachtskarte für den Monat!
I used four different Distress Ink pads and a Versamark for Embossing. And I made a christmas card! I am already behind for Febraury for my goal of making two christmas card per month.
