Seize The Birthday: No Topping

Schon sind wieder zwei Wochen rum und es gibt eine neue Challenge bei Seize the Birthday! Dieses Mal gibt es keine weitere Vorgabe außer, dass es eine Geburtstagskarte sein muss.
Two weeks are over already and it is time for a new challenge over at Seize the Birthday. This time there is no other challenge than to make a birthday card.

Ich habe diese Challenge genutzt, um meine tolle neue Elefanten-Stanze einzuweihen, die ich von der lieben Christine geschenkt bekommen habe. Hach, ist die nicht süß?
This challenge was just the right occassion to use my new cute elephant dies that I got from Christine. Aaaw, isn't it cute?

Gast Designer bei der Stampotique Challenge Teil 2

Auch in dieser Woche darf ich wieder Gast Designerin bei der Stampotique Challenge sein. Dieses Mal ist das Thema: Nur zwei Stempel. Das war nicht wirklich eine Herausforderung für mich, da ich selten mehr als zwei Stempel benutze!
This week I am a guest designer over at the Stampotique challenge. The theme this time is to use only two stamps. Not a real challenge for me as I usually don't use more than two stamps.

Das doppelte Lottchen # 142

Beim doppelten Lottchen suchen Christine vom Kartenchaos und ich uns ein Stempel oder Stempelset o.ä. aus, das wir beide haben (da gibt es eine große Auswahl, weil wir beide den gleichen Stempelgeschmack haben). Wir entscheiden uns für eine weitere Vorgabe und basteln beide eine Karte u.ä., die dann sonntags um 16:00 Uhr gezeigt wird. Und dann staunen wir (und hoffentlich auch Ihr) wie ähnlich oder wie unterschiedlich die Karten geworden sind!

In dieser Woche durfte ich mir die Vorgaben wünschen und das ist dabei raus gekommen:

That means Christine vom Kartenchaos and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this set and another task.
Today I made a wish, and it is:

Die Idee für diese Vorgabe kam mir, da ich auf Pinterest eine Pinnwand mit vielen, vielen Farbkombis habe, diese aber nie nutze. Deswegen dachte ich mir, das wäre doch mal eine Aufgabe für das Lottchen. Und für diese habe ich mich entschieden:
I got the idea for the challenge, because of a board on pinterest with A LOT of color combos I have. But I never use them. So I thought that would be a perfect challenge for Lottie and Lisa. And that's the combo I decided to go with:

Ich gebe zu, dass ich die Farben nciht 100%ig getroffen habe, aber ich hoffe, Ihr (und insbesondere Christine) seid ein wenig großzügig.
I admit the colors are not 100 % true to the inspiration photo but I hope you (and especially Christine) are generous.

Gast Designer bei der Stampotique Challenge

Heute und den ganzen September lang darf ich Gast Designerin bei der Stampotique Challenge sein. Ihr kennt sicherlich die tollen Monster von Stampotique (Tanja hat mich infiziert - wie sollte es anders sein, wenn es um Monster geht). Aber heute gibt es keine Monster, sondern lustige Vögel.
Die Vorgabe bei der Challenge war: Grundfarben - benutzt zwei der drei Grundfarben (und die Farben, die durch mischen entstehen) und benutze nur diese auf deinem Projekt.
Today and through the whole September I am honored to be a guest designer at the Stampotique Challenge. You may know Stampotique for its fabulous monsters (I was infected by Tanja - of course when there are monsters). But on today's card you can't find monsters but funy birds.
The theme of the challenge is  Primary Colors - take 2 of the 3 primary colours (and the colours that they create when mixed) and just use these on your creation.
