Das doppelte Lottchen # 115

Beim doppelten Lottchen suchen Christine vom Kartenchaos und ich uns ein Stempel oder Stempelset o.ä. aus, das wir beide haben (da gibt es eine große Auswahl, weil wir beide den gleichen Stempelgeschmack haben). Wir entscheiden uns für eine weitere Vorgabe und basteln beide eine Karte u.ä., die dann sonntags um 16:00 Uhr gezeigt wird. Und dann staunen wir (und hoffentlich auch Ihr) wie ähnlich oder wie unterschiedlich die Karten geworden sind!
In dieser Woche durfte Christine sich die Vorgaben wünschen und das ist dabei raus gekommen:

That means Christine vom Kartenchaos and I usually pick a stamp or stamp set that we both have (we nearly have the same taste!) and create a card with this set and another task.

Das Chipboard, das ich verwendet habe, ist uralt, und ich weiß auch schon gar nicht mehr, von welcher Firma es ist. Ich habe es mit weißer Acrylfarbe eingefärbt. Und das ist meine Karte:
The chipboard that I used is really old and I don't even know from which company it is. I painted it with white acrylic paint.

Weihnachtstierchen

Die Tage werden grauer und kälter! Einige von Euch hatten bestimmt ein tolles Halloween gestern! Die nächsten Feiertage, die anstehen, sind dann auch schon die Weihnachtstage! Und um Euch daran zu erinnern und um Euch in die richtige Stimmung zu bringen, um Weihnachtskarten zu basteln, habe ich heute eine Weihnachtskarte für Euch!
The days are gettinger more grey and colder and I bet a lot of you had a great halloween yesterday! So for the people in Germany the next holiday ahead is christmas! And to remind you and to get you in christmas crafting mode :) I have a christmas card for you today!

Ich liebe alle diese süßen Tierchen von Create a Smile! Und ich liebe die Weihnachtsmütze, die im Set Friends in The Woods zu finden ist! Ich möchte sie am liebsten jedem Tierchen aufsetzen - also warum eigentlich nicht!

I love all the cute Create a Smile critters! And I really love the christmas hat that is included in the set Friends in the Woods! I want to put it on every creature - so I said to myself: Why not! 

Ich coloriere eigentlich meistens mit Copics, bei diesen kleinen Tierchen setze ich aber gerne die Schatten und Highlights mit Buntstiften (Polychromos). Ich hoffe, Ihr könnt das im Detailfoto sehen! Wenn man mit Polychromos coloriert, sollte man die schwarzen Linien immer nochmal mit einem schwarzen Fineliner nachziehen, damit man schöne klare Linien erhält. Für die Augen und Nasen benutze ich abschließend gerne einen schwarzen Gel-Stift, der noch intensiver ist!
I colored the cuties with copics but because they are on the smaller side I like to use pencils (Polychromos) for the shadows and highlights (I hope you can see it in the next photo).
When you use pencils it is important to go over the black lines with a black pen to get crisp lines! I use a black gel pen which is even more intense for the eyes and the noses!

Ich habe wieder die Farben aus dem oberen linken Foto übernommen, habe dieses Mal aber das Holzmuster gegen die schwarz-weißen Polka Dots aus dem Bild rechts oben eingetauscht! Heraus gekommen ist eine Überraschungskarte!
I used the colors from the upper left picture again, but this time I swapped the woodgrain for the black and white polka dots from the photo in the upper right corner. And here is the card.

Pinguin am Strand

Ich mache die meiste Zeit normale Karten. Ich denke nicht viel über die Faltung der Karte nach. Aber manchmal sehe ich eine Karte oder eine Anleitung und dann weiß ich sofort: Das musst du ausprobieren!
Zufällig bin ich über diese Anleitung gestolpert und mochte sie sofort! Das ist so grandios! Da wusste ich, so eine Karte muss ich machen!
Wenn Ihr eine Anleitung befolgt, nutzt Ihr dann nur die Idee oder braucht Ihr ganz genaue Angaben, die Ihr befolgen könnt? Ich halte mich meist an die grundlegende Idee der Anleitung und biege sie mir dann für meine Karte zurecht.
I usually make only traditional cards! I don't think much about the way I want to fold them! But sometimes I see a card or a tutorial and I just HAVE to try it out!
I came across this tutorial and instantly LOVED it! It is so cute! Check it out! So knew I had to make a card just like this.
When you use a tutorial do you just use the idea of it? Or do you need all the measurements? I take most of the time only the idea and make it work for my design!

Und dann wurde ich sogar noch glücklicher, als ich feststellte, dass der Pinguin mit dem Surfbrett aus dem Set Penguin Party von Create a Smile perfek auf das Handtuch und unter den Sonnenschirm von Comfy passt! Wie cool ist das denn bitte?
And than I got even happier when I realised that the penguin with the surfboard from Penguin Party fits perfectly on the towel and under the sun umbrella from Comfy! How cool is that?
Awww, I want to be where he is!
