Das doppelte Lottchen # 150

Beim doppelten Lottchen suchen Christine vom Kartenchaos und ich uns ein Stempel oder Stempelset o.ä. aus, das wir beide haben (da gibt es eine große Auswahl, weil wir beide den gleichen Stempelgeschmack haben). Wir entscheiden uns für eine weitere Vorgabe und basteln beide eine Karte u.ä., die dann sonntags um 16:00 Uhr gezeigt wird. Und dann staunen wir (und hoffentlich auch Ihr) wie ähnlich oder wie unterschiedlich die Karten geworden sind!

In dieser Woche durfte ich mir die Vorgaben wünschen und das ist dabei raus gekommen:

Today I made a wish, and it is:

Vorgabe: Wasserfarben + Salz/Watercolor + salt

150 Lottchen schon - unglaublich, aber wahr! Und ich bin jedes Mal wieder gespannt auf Christines Karte!
Tja, der Salzeffekt! An manchen Stellen ist es richtig schön geworden, an anderen Stellen sieht man kaum, dass Salz im Spiel war. Und dann habe ich auch noch ganz schön viel davon abgedeckt! Ich mag die Karte trotzdem und werde die Technik bestimmt nochmal ausprobieren! Klickt ruhig mal auf den Link, da gibt es noch mehr spannende Techniken zu entdecken! Und bei den Farben habe ich mich stark von einer Karte von Christine inspirieren lassen, die sie vor einige Zeit auf Instagram gepostet hat!

Well, salt technique. On some areas it turned out well and other you wouldn't even notice that I added some salt. And I covered up a lot of the background! But I like the card neverthelesse and will try this technique again! Click on the link to find out more about this and other fun watercolor techniques!

Puuuhh, das war wieder eine schwierige Geburt!Als ich Christine gerade mitteilen wollte, dass ich mit diesem Stempel nichts vernünftiges auf die Reihe kriege, hatte ich noch eine Idee! So richtig überzeugend finde ich die Karte immer noch nicht, aber ich bin mir sicher, Christine tröstet Euch mit einer sehr hübschen Karte darüber hinweg!
Phew, that was really really difficult. I already wanted to tell Christine that I am not able to do something with this stamp then I got this idea! I am still not really satisfied with this card bu I am sure Christine will come up with somenthing much more pretty!

Release Countdown bei Create a Smile

Es ist so weit, wir zählen schon wieder die Tage runter bis zum nächsten Create a Smile release. Dieses Mal gibt es geniale Stanzen (deutsche Wortstanzen!!!!!!), ein Stempelset und neue Stencils! Hüpft rüber zum Create a Smile Blog und schaut Euch die neuen Produkte an - ab Freitag findet Ihr sie auch im Shop!

Für meine Karte habe ich die deutschen Wortstanzen (damit hat Christine mir einen lang gehegten Wunsch erfüllt) einen Hintergrund gebastelt!

Heute habe ich eine einfache und bunte Karte für euch.
Ich mag das Set Uplifting von Create a Smile wirklich sehr, habe es aber noch nicht soviel benutzt. Ich wollte den süßen Heißluftballon benutzen und ich wollte wollte kräftige Farben gegen das graue Wetter verwenden. Uuuuunnnndddddd: Das Set ist gerade reduziert! Los, schnappt es euch!

I really really love the set Uplifting from Create a Smile and haven't used it much. So I wanted to create something with this cute hot air balloon. Weather is grey at the moment over here in Berlin so I decided to use bold colors. Aaaaannnnddd: This set is on sale right now!!!! Go and get it!

Vorgabe: Stencil und Distress INks

Ich habe den Hintergrund mit Distress Inks eingefärbt, dann einen Stencil darüber gelegt und mit einem feuchten Tuch wieder Farbe entfernt. Der Effekt ist sehr hübsch, finde ich, aber leider hat mein Papier etwas gelitten!
I prepared the background with Distress Inks, used a stencil and some moist baby wipes to take some of the paint. I like the effect but you have to be careful or you paper gets damaged.
