CASE Study # 210

Die neuste Challenge kommt mit schlechten Neuigkeiten: CASE Study geht in eine Pause! Wie wir alle wissen, kommt uns manchmal einfach das wahre Leben dazwischen. Wir hoffen alle, dass CASE Study bald zurück ist! Es hat wirklich viel Spaß gemacht und das DT ist so talentiert!
This challenge comes with very bad news: CASE Study is being suspended! As we all know real life sometimes gets in the way! We all hope CASE Study will be back again soon! It was so much fun and DT is so talented.

Für unsere letzte Woche ist noch einmal Debby Hughes unsere Muse und diese Karte hat uns inspiriert!
For the last week Debby Hughes is our muse again and this is the card that inspired us:

Mir gefallen die Herzen aus Embossing Paste richtig gut und die winterliche Stimmung inspirierte mich dazu, eine Weihnachtskarte zu machen.
I really liked the embossing paste hearts in the background. And the wintery atmosphere inspired me to make a christmas card.

CASE Study # 208

Es ist wieder Zeit für eine Karte von unserer wunderbaren Muse Debby Hughes bei CASE Study.
It is time again for another card from our amazing muse Debby Hughes over at CASE Study.

Kraft und Rot ist immer eine wunderbare Farbzusammenstellung, die wollte ich auf jeden Fall übernehmen. Tags sind ein Markenzeichen von Debby Hughes, also sollte auch das auf meiner Karte untergebracht werden.
Kraft and red is always beautiful color combo, tags are a trademark of Debby Hughes! So I knew I wanted to incorporate those two things in my card.

CASE Study # 207

Nach dem Geburtstagsmonat August geht es jetzt wieder ganz normal zu bei CASE Study! In diesem Monat ist Debby Hughes unsere Muse - fantastisch, oder?
After the month long celebration in August we are back to normal at CASE Study. In this month Debby Hughes is our muse - fantastic, isn't it?

Mir hat soviel an dieser Karte gefallen, dass meine fast eine Kopie geworden ist. Ich habe die Technik übernommen (Copic Coloration auf vellum), die Farben, die Wortstanze. Alles in allem ganz schön ähnlich!

Ich habe verschiedene Elemente von Sharis Karte übernommen. Der Text auf dem schmalen Streifen Papier, das überhängende Element, die feinen Motive im Hintergrund und den Sketch an sich.
I used different elements from Shari's card: the sentiemnt on a narrow stripe of paper, the element that goes over the edge, the subtle images in the background and the sketch itself!

Wieder ist ein ganz Monat vorüber und bei CASE Study können wir uns über eine neue Muse freuen. Dieses Mal ist es eine meiner absoluten Lieblingskartendesignerinnen: Shari Carroll. Und diese Karte ist unser Studienobjekt für diese Woche:
It is a new month and it is time for a new muse over at CASE study. This time we have one of my all time favorite card designer: Shari Carroll. And this is our CASE study for this week:

CASE Study # 197

Im Monat Juni ist Pamela Ho unsere Muse bei CASE Study und in dieser Woche lassen wir uns von dieser tollen Karten von ihr inspirieren:
In June Pamelo Ho is our muse over at CASE Study and we are inspired by this beautiful card:

Oh, diese Kreise! Das war das erste, was mich an dieser Karte angesprochen hat. Natürlich ist auch die Gestaltung mit dem festgenähten Vellum fantastisch. Als ich in meinen Beständen nach Kreisen forschte, stieß ich auf einen Stencil, den ich der lieben Christine (Übrigens: Sie startet ihre eigene Stempelfirma Create a Smile) zu verdanken habe - den wollte ich schon lange einsetzen. Als der Hintergrund fertig war, musste auf jeden Fall noch das Vellum und ein wenig Schwarz mit auf die Karte - ich liebe diesen Kontrast. Und hier ist sie nun:

Aww, these circles! That was the first thing I noticed about this card. Of course the layout with the stitched vellum is great, too. When I searched in my stash for circles, I found this stencil that lovely Christine (by the way: She is starting her own Stamp company: Create a Smile) made for me - I wanted to use this one for a long time. When the backfround was finished I knew there had to be some vellum and black - I love this contrast. And here it is:

Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue wunderschöne Karte von Pamela Ho bei CASE Study. Und das ist unser aktuelles Studienobjekt:
It is time for another beautiful card from Pamela Ho over at CASE Study.

Schon lange wollte ich eine Karte machen, bei der der Textbereich maskiert ist! Und das war natürlich der perfekte Anlass! Und man sehe und staune: Ich habe eine One Layer Card gemacht.
For a long time I wanted to make a card with a masked area for the sentiment. This was the perfect occasion. And totally unbelievable: I made a One Layer Card.

CASE Study # 194

Für den Monat Juni hat Iwona eine fantastische Kartendesignerin als unsere Muse ausgesucht: Pamela Ho. Sie macht wirklich wunderschöne Karten und als CASE Study beginnen wir mit einer Karte von Ihr, die Ihr wahrscheinlich alle schon mal gesehen habt:
For the month june Iwona has chosen a fantastic card designer as our muse: Pamela Ho. She makes beautiful cards and over at CASE study we start with a card that is pretty popular and I am sure that you know it.

Ich habe mich sehr von der Technik und dem Layout von Pamelas Karte angesprochen gefühlt und habe das übernommen. Die schwarze Grundkarte habe ich gegen eine weiße eingetauscht (welch Überraschung) und statt Zahlen hab ich Herzen verwendet, aber ansonsten bin ich doch sehr eng an Pamelas Karte geblieben. Leider ist sie schwierig zu fotografieren.
I really liked the technique and the layout that Pamela used. I went for a white card base instead of a black one (surprise, surprise) and I used hearts instead of numbers. The rest of the card is quite similar to Pamela's card. Unfortunatly the card is difficult to photograph.

CASE Study # 193

Nun ist es tatsächlich schon das letzte Mal, dass wir uns bei CASE Study von der fantastischen Wida Miller inspirieren lassen. Hier ist die Karte, die wir bei der aktuellen Challenge unter die Lupe nehmen!
It's already the last time we are inspired by Wida Miller over at CASE Study. Here is our card for the current challenge:

So viele Dinge von denen man sich inspirieren lassen kann: Die Farben, die Pailletten, der Sketch... Nach langem hin und her habe ich mich dafür entschieden, das Layout und das Thema (Geburtstagskarte mit Blumen) der Karte zu übernehmen.
So many things to be inspired by: The colors, the sequins, the sketch... After a long time thinking I decided to go with the layout and the theme (birthday card with flowers) of Widas card.

CASE Study # 192

Wieder ist eine Woche um und wir lassen uns bei CASE Study von einer weiteren Karte von Wida Miller inspirieren! Das ist sie:
It is time for a new card from our amazinf muse Wida Miller over at CASE Study.

Ich liebe neutrale Farben, auch gerne in Kombination mit Vellum und Gold. Diese Kombi sollte auf jeden Fall auch in meiner Karte auftauchen. Das Pandamonium von Mama Elephant hatte ich gerade bekommen und ich finde es richtig, richtig süß! Da war das schwarz-weiße Papier auf Widas Karte eine willkommene Ausrede, die Pandas zu benutzen. Um noch den Aufbau von Widas Karte etwas nachzuahmen, habe ich Embossing Paste mit kraft farbenden Stempelkissen eingefärbt und auf die Karte mit einem Streifen-Stencil aufgebracht.
I love neutral colors, especially in combination with vellum and gold. So that color combo I wanted to use for my card. The set Pandamonium from Mama Elephant had just arrived and I like it a lot. The black and white paper on Widas card was a welcome excuse to use the pandas. To mimic the layout of Wida's card I used some embossing paste and a stripe stecnil.

CASE Study # 191

Heute ist es nun endlich so weit: Meine erste Challenge als DT Mitglied von CASE Study - wie aufregend.
In diesem Monat lassen wir uns von Karten von Wida Miller inspirieren und das ist die Karte der aktuellen Challenge:
Today is the day: My first challenge as a DT member at CASE Study - how exciting! The muse of the month is Wida Miller and this is our current inspiration card:

Wer mich kennt, weiß, dass ich ein großer Fan von weißen Die-Cuts auf weißem Hintergrund bin und die sind mir an Widas Karte natürlich sofort ins Auge gesprungen. Schön fand ich auch den Effekt auf den Mohnblumen. Schnell war mir klar, dass ich diese zwei Elemente auf meiner Karte einsetzen möchte. Dann habe ich mich noch ein wenig an der Farbwahl orientiert und so ist meine Karte entstanden.
If you know me a litttle then you realized by now that I am a big fan of white die-cuts on white background. They caught my eye immediately on Wida's card. The second thing I noticed was the stunning effect on the poppies. These two elements I wanted to use on my card. I chose the same colors as Wida and that is my card:
